Has that motivated you? Didn't do much for me either to be honest....yet that's often the advice that is given to people that need and want to lose weight.
Have you ever been told that and thought 'Really? Thank you! Seriously because now I know what to do. I've always wondered.' So how do you start that process if you're looking to make positive changes to your health? Firstly it's ok to be fairly rubbish at it to start with. If you're expecting to become an expert on exercise and nutrition just because that switch has flipped, then probably best to lower your expectations. Start small and make changes that you can live with if you want this to be a long term relationship with yourself. Find exercise that makes you feel good about yourself. If it doesn't, try something else. If you're serious about making changes then think about what you're eating and ask yourself whether this is real food that will help me feel good. I'm still learning about nutrition and movement and I always will be. Eat less - Move more - it doesn't sound tempting.. Eat well and enjoy being active...we're getting there 😊
